Wi-fi Repeater unable to discover SSID of R8000P —Nighthawk X6S AC4000 Tri Band WiFi Router

Dear ALL,

I have a router R8000P —Nighthawk X6S AC4000 Tri Band WiFi Router in my home and working well for normal wifi network. 

My CCTV DVR is away from my router and physical cabling is not possible, so I tried to use Wi-fi to ethernet converter of Tenda and TPLINK.

Issue : when I set the Tenda router in repeater mode, it can search all ssid in my area but not the one configured on my R8000P —Nighthawk X6S AC4000 Tri Band WiFi Router router. 

I tried both 2.4 GH and 5 Gh but unsucceded. tried looking for setting in the configuration of R8000P —Nighthawk X6S AC4000 Tri Band WiFi Router but could not find anything to make SSID visible in Tenda repeater router.

 

PLease suggest me how can I get this done?
