Wifi AP using PoE
I'm installing an ethernet cable in my home in a hallway and want to put an WiFi AP there. No mains power available. It seems only business models use PoE. Any recommendations?
You can use business class equipment in a home. They will sell it to you.
I'd only make sure to keep an eye out for those that require a subscription for certain capabilities.
I've used the WAX218 with great success. There's a bunch of other models so I'd just search for what features you'd prefer.
