Wifi dropping on Netgear Nighthawk r6700v3 router

Last week I had turned on access control and downloaded the app they recommended for parental controls . I had blocked a device on my wifi and really did nothing with the app, I uninstalled it. I unblocked the device nand turned off access control and every day since then my wifi drops. I only have to unplug it to get it to work again but its annoying. Any ideas?
