Wifi extremely slow compared to netgear speed test from router... how do I fix this?
Every now and then it peaks and runs a full 350mb/s but most of the time the devices(all -- laptop and mobile) are hitting 5mb/s or less. It's been like this since Sunday. It's not an Xfinity issue. I'm about to return this mesh system back.

What router do you have?
Firmware on the router?
what modem/gateway is it connected to?
What wired speeds do you get?
What speeds over 2.4ghz?
And over 5ghz?
What device/devices are you testing on?
What site/app are you using to test speeds with?
it's the nighthawk mr80... the ac3600 wifi 6 mesh system.

I can't hook up to the ethernet in to a pc but the router's speed test says 350mb/12mb.
I can't test between the two but my speed test on both laptop and iphone swing from 330+ to under 5mb/s. No in between.
speedtest.net is the testing site for my mac
the mobile version is on my iphone.
If you're testing directly off the router (shut off the satellites) do you get the same speed?
