Wifi stopped connecting to phone/tablet

Phone and tablet stopped connecting to wifi. Centurylink says all is nominal. How do I see if router is working?

Not much to go on there.

Which Netgear device is involved in this?

What are these phones and tablets?

What is the modem/ONT/gateway between the router and the Internet?

What firmware version do you have on the device?

A number is more useful than "the latest". There can also be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.

Finally, your subject has things the wrong way round. Routers don't connect to wifi clients. The phone/tablet connect to the router. That's where to look for problems.

So what happens whey they try to connect to the wifi?
