Will Cable Internet Pass thru Modem w/out TV Servise?

I have cable TV service & Internet service from the same provider. I want to get rid of the TV service but keep the Internet service. My R6700V3 router does not have a RG6 connector to connect cable straight to the router. If I have my router connected to my CM1000v2 cable modem w/out TV service, will the Internet service pass thru the cable modem to the WAN connection on my router?

TIA

  • Yes, it should.  That is a good question to ask you internet service provider.

    Yes. it will.

Thats exactly how its supposed to work coax---->modem (cm1000)----->router (r6700)

usually for tv service they just split the coax and send one lag to the tv box.
