Wired / wireless devices can see each other but cannot communicate
I have a cable modem / router cobo. I have both wired and wireless devices. All of the devices can see each other but the wired devices are unable to communicate with the wireles devices. It's really weird. For example I have a printer wired to the router. My computer which is also wired to the router is able to print. My iphone and ipad is not able to print. When I connect the same wired computer to the network wirelessly it is also no longer able to connect. What even weirder is that all devices connected wirelessly can see the printer, its just not able to print wirelessly.
The same exact thing is happening wiht my TVs. I have two AirPlay enabled tvs which I have wired to the router. When I connect my computer to the network with a wire it is able to see and broadcast to the TVs. When I connect to the network wirelessly using the same computer is can see the TVs but is not able to broadcast.
What is going on? When I google this, there are tons of people with same problem and it seems none of them were able to find a solution.
I went as far as to buy a new printer, thinking my printer was bad, but that did not fix the problem either.
What makes this even weirder is that I'm able to ping all devices weather wired or wireless, just not able to use whatever service I'm trying to use. Printer will not print, tv will not broadcast unless it is wired to wired or wireless to wireless.
