Wired Internet but Wireless internet is Intermittent - I can connect wirelessly to all devices.
I just bought this router and it is having issues connecting to the internet wirelessly; I can connect all devices wirelly to the device. All devices wired to it work fine (Arlo, ADT Cameras, DirecTV, Laptop, Ethernet Switch with even more devices). Strange enough, the 2 Amazon Echos work fine, a couple laptops have issues. I just tried to reconnect my fridge and it connects fine to the router, but gets no internet. Same with my thermostats and all Galaxy S8 phones (5 of them!). I have to switch back and forth between the 2.4 and 5.0 networks and after about 5 or 6 times, the internet works. Once connected, it stays connected though. Its just going home and trying to establish a cennection. Also, if I want to make any change that requires a router reboot, forget about it. I have to go through hell to get everything connected. I have one wired XBox one and one wireless. The wired works fine but the wireless has to be reconnected about 5 times before it finally says it is connected to the internet. I am about to bring this thing back to Best Buy if I can't get it to operate soon. Thanks for any help!
Hi ccarpen8,
1. What is the firmware version of the router? Make sure to update it.
2. Try this as well : https://kb.netgear.com/1110/Troubleshooting-wireless-networks
3. If still the same, reset and reconfigure.

My apologies for the late reply. I ended up calling the tech support and they found that I had a gaming network adpater that was conflicting with the router. Once it was set up, everything was good to go.
Regards.
