What is that gateway?
Is the PC's LAN going into "sleep mode"?

GW (x.x.x.1) - AP (x.x.x.2) ==RF== R7000 (x.x.x.3) ==wired==PC (x.x.x.4)
Sequence of events:
- The connection is intact
- I shutdown the computer (Night)
- I start the computer (Day)
- The connection is lost
- I reboot the R7000
- The connection is resumed

Sorry, but that means nothing to me.
It certainly tells me nothing about the other hardware on your network, especially the bit at the front end.

You don't understand and not very helpful. The gateway is not reachable from the computer and it is a router, what more do you want to know?
And, I am telling you I shutdown the computer and start it the next day, so I have already answered your "sleep mode" question.
If you want to know the nitty-gritty of everything, you should state clearly next time.
