GW (x.x.x.1) - AP (x.x.x.2) ==RF== R7000 (x.x.x.3) ==wired==PC (x.x.x.4)
Sequence of events:
- The connection is intact

- The connection is lost
- I reboot the R7000
- The connection is resumed

Sorry, but that means nothing to me.
It certainly tells me nothing about the other hardware on your network, especially the bit at the front end.

You don't understand and not very helpful. The gateway is not reachable from the computer and it is a router, what more do you want to know?
And, I am telling you I shutdown the computer and start it the next day, so I have already answered your "sleep mode" question.
If you want to know the nitty-gritty of everything, you should state clearly next time.

Quite likely given your "explanation".
You may think that your explanation is transparent. That no one else has chipped in suggests that they have not spotted any lapses in my understanding. (Believe me, they are quick to jump in if they have more to add.)
So, you have two routers on your network.
The unnamed "bridge" and the R7000.
What is this "AP" bit?
Is there any reason why you won't tell people what this gateway is? I ask because getting wireless repeater (bridge mode) to work is very much device dependent.
But if you aren't prepared to explain what is going on, you could always pay for a subscription to Geeksquad.

I didn't say because you had not asked for the vendor name or something like that.
the router / gateway is a no brand given by my ISP.
the AP is a UniFi AP.
The point is, the R7000 wireless bridge mode is perfectly functional for the daytime, and lost function overnight. And resume the function after a reboot. It's annoying to have to reboot it everyday or I have to keep my computer on all the time.
