X10 R9000 Bitdefender update & iOS appstore issues

Hi, 

 

I just recently installed my X10 R9000. What a monster! :)

Sadly already encountered two issues:

- iOS devices (iPhone, iPad,...) connected to the router can't download or update apps 

- Bitdefender anti-virus is unable to update virus definitions

 

I'm sure it's the router as these functions work perfectly when connected to a different network. 

 

What could be the problem here? 

 

Everything else works fine. Gaming, streaming, network printing, Plex, Synology... No problems, but the two above. 

 

Seem pretty basic functions, can't imagine I have to forward ports for this? 

Can anyone help me with this?

    I have just updated the apps on my iOS device using the same router.

    Have you tried resetting the unit? 

    Do you have the latest firmware installed? 

    What's the brand and model of your modem?

      Hi,

       

      I reïnstalled the firmware from image file and reset the router. Seems to work now! :)
