x2goclient doesn't work in a VPN connected PC
To duplicate the problem:
* VPN to the router
* Run x2goclient connecting to a ubuntu 18.04 server.
The client never receives a response from the server.
This problem occurs with x2goclient in windows and ubuntu 18.04.
The problem is caused by the router not assigning a Lan IP address to VPN connected PC. Thus, the PC isn’t operating within the router subnet space.

Is this in regards to a NG router product? If so, which model please?
I added the model number: R7000 - AC1900 Smart WIFI Router
Problem solved.
The source of the problem was the network provider's hardware configuration missmatch. The provider was disconnecting the network after the hotspot connected.
x2go works now.
