X6 R8000 factory reset itself - again
My R8000 did an unexpected factory reset on its own again today (2nd time in 30 days). All user-defined data was lost on the router.
R8000 Firmware: V1.0.4.68_10.1.75
The R8000 WAN port is connected to an Arris TM822 Modem.
I have a backup but that does me no good when I'm away from the house and can't access security cameras.
I used a 7k series router for years and never had this issue. Random factory resets shouldn't happen without pushing the reset button.
Suggestions on what might be causing this issue would be apprecaited. Thanks.

It could be a firmware issue. Have you tried downgrading your firmware?

You could also try writing the latest firmware again. This has also been known to fix firmware that does not "stick".
It may also help to factory reset the thing and set it up from scratch without reinstalling saved settings. Using a backup can restore the bugs that caused the problem in the first place.
