X6S Extender – Dedicated WiFi Link Compatibility

Is the X6S Dedicated WiFi Link compatible with all Netgear routers? Specifically is it compatible with a Nightwawk R8000?

    Thanks for your question. The dedicated wifi link on X6S is available to connect to ANY router or gateway. This includes all NETGEAR routers or any third party router. There is no restriction. For best results, it's better to use with a tri-band router like R8000 which can dedicate high 5G band to the extender to make the best use of the 4x4 backhaul.
