You tech support SUCKS
YOUR techinical support SUCKS!!!!!! i spent over an hour on the phone with three people and still did get registered but was I was unable to change the Network name after being sent to three website...

On what? Look for "Model" on the product label. With which firmware
version? Connected to what?
"the Network name"? Do you mean a wireless-network SSID, or
something on a Windows system, or what?
"unable" is not a useful problem description. It does not say what
you did. It does not say what happened when you did it. As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.

The non-psychics in your current audience might have little idea what
those might have been.
But I'm beginning to see why you might not have gotten very far.
You might find some router-relevant information in a widely neglected

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model
number, and look for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least).
Read. Look for a topic like "Specify Basic WiFi Settings"? Further
reading might not hurt, either.
