Il D7000 è un modem router VDSL/ADSL dunque, in generale, è compatibile con fibra misto rame (FTTC).
I profili VDSL2 supportati sono: 8a, 8b, 8c, 8d, 12a, 12b e 17a.
I router NETGEAR non supportano il profilo 35b.
