Here it is…
My system: NBK752 (NBR750 router and three RBS750 satellites, wired to the router).
Everything was fine until yesterday.
Today I decided to update the Router’s and Satellites’ firmware. There are many report of possible security issues related to the old firmware.
I followed step by step the procedure: Orbi login, update manually a satellite at the time and finally the router.
Everything went fine. I noticed that the Router’s firmware number was different from the one for the satellites but they were both reported on the Netgear support page.
To make it short: the Orbi login reports that the three satellites are “disconnected” and so does the iPhone app.
The whole process went through the normal satellite light cycling (flash white, solid white, blue, OK) and finally I realized that they are working normally, extending the signal through the house, even if they appear “disconnected”.
Finally I got access to them through their IP address and their browser page says that everything is fine.
I even downgraded one satellite firmware to the previous without success.
Any idea?
