Quick start 1000 model PL1010v2

Working ok for two years in detached boat house with an access point. The Pick A Plug LED is now off. Nothing changed.  Moved adapter into same room and all LED lights green.  What to do?  Could an adapter be sending a weaker signal?  Do I need to buy an adapter with a stronger signal than the Powerline 1000.
