Nighthawk R9000 - connessione 10Gbit con modulo SFP+ e banda passante

Good morning everyone,

I have just activated a 10Gbit fiber connection (Openfiber network), by purchasing an SFP+/RJ45 module connected to the appropriate port (and a cat 8 patch cable).

I noticed that when I take the connection from the Internet/Wan port, ONT and router are set for 1Gbit and the connection test practically gives me 1Gbit for both up and down (about 930-940 for both).

While if I take advantage of the SFP+ port, the dialogue between the two devices takes place at the maximum speed of the port, i.e. 10Gbit (we consider that the provider provides 10Gbit/2.5Gbit on paper), but the speed test returns about 400-500 for the down and 600 for the up.

If I try to enter the bandwidth for the QoS service manually, the firmware does not allow me to enter values higher than 1000Mbit.

Do you have any ideas on how to correctly set the parameters to make the most of the internet connection?
