XR700 e Fastweb FTTH

Salve a tutti, volevo sapere se qualcuno ha informazioni riguardo all'utilizzo del router XR700 e della FTTH di fastweb. E' possibile con questo router togliere il modem fastweb e usare solo l'XR70...

Ciao Redento,

no ti sbagli ad occhio e croce: in una review del router trovo scritto questo:

 

The main differences between the Nighthawk X10 and the XR700 are:

  • A different industrial design for the chassis, to better reflect the Nighthawk Pro gaming branding
  • Replacement of the traditional firmware with the gaming-optimized DumaOS
  • Abilitiy to use the 10G SFP+ port as a WAN port (the Nighthawk X10 restricted it LAN duties when it was launched).
  • Value addition in the form of a 6 month unlimited Amazon Cloud backup

Quindi a quanto capisco posso collegarci la fibra direttamente, unica cosa da capire è la "configurabilità" di quella porta.

Magari qualcuno del supporto ha qualche idea?

Gentile Liander,

Come detto da Netduma_Jack XR7000 è router e deve essere connesso a un modem.

 

Altre configurazioni non sono ufficialmente supportate.
