BE18000 RS600 Random Internet Dropout Issues
Have the new tri-band WIFI 7 RS600. After about a month the internet side of the router would start to drop out. By 'internet side' I am referring to the downstream router. All devices (usually 4) in the house stay connected to the RS600. The internet connection status light goes out, then comes back on after some random amount of time. Times of drop out are random; sometimes 6 seconds, 2 minutes, 45 seconds, 5 minutes, etc.
Have powered router on/off (for various times) and issue remains. By various I mean I let the router go cold to see if it is a heat issue in the router. Does not appear to have any bearing on the issue.
Router physically connects to an Arris Surfboard (S33) modem, which in turn connect to cable company.
Replaced the router with a substitute router and connection drops disappear.
What is going on with the RS600?
Time Period: February 2025 through March 2025. Problem: Ongoing
RS600 firmware update is latest available as of March 12 2025. Router is on 24hrs. Dropouts occur throughout the day.

What actual firmware are you on? People will say the latest and it not be. Not saying yours isn't but its why we check.
Have you tried a reset? (not reboot but full reset)
So devices stay connected to the router, just not the internet? You get "connected, no internet notices"?
When the "internet" light goes out, is it still showing a connection to the modem?
Are you using ipv6?
Who's your isp?
Have you checked the modem connection? many times when things stay connected to the router but dont' have internet, it can be a ISP line issue or modem issue so its worth investigating. Not all routers are quite as sensitive to drops from the modem side.
