Can the configuration file for the RAX120 be used to configure the RS500?

My RAX120 just failed, the device lost settings, fan not working, and will not reset.  I ordered a RS500 (have not received it yet).  Can the configuration file for the RAX120 be used to configure the RS500?

    Try a 30-30-30 reset on the RAX120 to see if this brings it back?
