Can't Access Router With IP Or Routerlogin.com With Ethernet BE9200
The fun just never seems to end with this router. Over the past couple of weeks I have had instances where I can't login to the router interface over ethernet using 192.168.1.1. The first time I rebooted the router and that resolved the issue. I have the same thing again this evening. I can connect via WiFi using "Routerlogin.com" (that connection carries a different IP) and I can connect from another machine which is also connected via ethernet using Edge and clicking on one of the search results. The most useful information has come from Edge using ethernet - 192.168.1.1 refused to connect. It seems that the router is blocking my IP from logging in. I have full access via the app and the IP is correct. This is really annoying. I "decommissioned" my old Nighthawk R7960P as it was no longer supported. I never had this much aggravation with that unit. Is there a table somewhere in the router which lists blocked IPs? I have a new BE9200 which I am tempted to install in place of this one. This router has been a royal PITA for the last month or so. It could be end-user error, but I've had no major problems with routers for 30 some odd years until I got this one. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Just for the heck of it, after leaving this post, I tried logging into the router again via ethernet with the IP. It let me in. When I was unable to login, I was pinging the 192.168.1.1 and not getting a response. The ping now returns a response. This is really strange IMHO.
Thanks

What browser?
Happens with different browsers?
I use MS Edge with my RS600.
Be sure to clear out all browser caches before trying to get to the routers web page?
Both Edge and Firefox. The fact that it didn’t respond to the ping is interesting. I didn’t clear the caches. I assume that each browser has its own cache.
I’m wondering if the router can be infected? The first issue with the router was when my wife started getting DNS failure to connect to website errors I ended up giving her a fixed DNS server. She didn’t have the problem with WiFi, only Ethernet. Next I had issues with my Echo Dot and Google Home/Mini devices losing connectivity intermittently. I did virus scans of both of our PCs with both Norton and Malwarebytes. Nothing was found. My son has a Mac book. Not sure what’s going on there. Thanks again.
