Can't Connect Asus RP-AC51 Extender To RS280
This morning I was having an issue with my 2.4ghz WiFi. I tried enabling the Smart Connect in the app and that's when everything went sideways. To make a long story short, I turned it off after all of my WiFi devices dropped. I've gotten everything back online with the exception of two ASUS RP-AC51 extenders. I have spent hours with these two trying to get them connected to the network. I've done soft resets, hard resets, web interface onboarding, app onboarding and updated the firmware on one. Still no luck. I did get the Netgear EAX17 extender back on without a problem. Anyone have any suggestions? It looks like the router does not want to give these two IPs. They are broadcasting a SSID in the app and can be reached via the web with an ethernet cable. It just seems that the router will not accept them. Thanks

If the EAX connected and the ASUS don't, maybe an issue with the ASUS extenders. Something to contact ASUS about.
Those maybe old generation extenders that may not work with newer generation wifi routers. Also may not support have WPA3 on the signal as well since.
