Ethernet Ports capped at 100 Mbps
Had a similar problem with the RS300. Ethernet to PC 100mbps. Changing device type from 'computer (generic)' to 'Desktop' corrected the problem. Ethernet adapter was set to 'auto negotiate'.

Good that the problem appears to have corrected itself. Very unlikely that changing a display parameter had anything to do with it. (coincidence) The Device Type is a way for users to create a visual indication of devices, and has no influence on how the system operates. Suggest changing it again (and again) Maybe "speaker" or "thermostat".
