Ethernet Ports capped at 100 Mbps

Question

Had a similar problem with the RS300.&nbsp; Ethernet to PC 100mbps.&nbsp; Changing device type from 'computer (generic)'&nbsp; to 'Desktop' corrected the problem.&nbsp; Ethernet adapter was set to 'auto negotiate'.&nbsp;

Not the first time a port issue has dropped speeds.&nbsp;

Good that the problem appears to have corrected itself.&nbsp; Very unlikely that changing a display parameter had anything to do with it. (coincidence)&nbsp; The Device Type is a way for users to create a visual indication of devices, and has no influence on how the system operates.&nbsp; Suggest changing it again (and again)&nbsp; Maybe "speaker" or "thermostat".
