So netiehr RS700 or R7000 works, but the connection to a laptop works? and the Internet LED on the RS700 is amber?
Can you go to the RS700's Web GUI to check the status for the WAN port? If you go to the Advanced tab from the GUI, you can see a dashboard and there is a tile named "Internet Port". Click on the "Show Statistics" button on the tile, it will pop-up the "Show Statistics" windows showing the physical link speed for each port. What does it show for the WAN port in the Status column?
In addition, on the Web GUI Advanced dashboard, please click on the Connect Status button to bring up the Connect Status window, and check if there is no IP address acquired.
We may need some logs from the RS700, I will send you a private message for the instructions to collect the debug logs. Thanks.
