NG routers do not have a IMEI number. Only cell phones do.

If the internet you're looking into requires a SIM card (mobile internet), you'll need a hotspot like the Netgear Nighthawk M6/Pro. If the internet you're looking into doesn't require a SIM card, you do not need an IMEI number whatsoever.

As mentioned, the RS series does not have cell service support. It requires a ethernet connection from ISPs such as cable, DSL or Fiber. If you need a cell servicing supporting router, then check into NGs MR series of routers that have this feature:

Or https://www.netgear.com/home/mobile-wifi/routers/
