I have a public routable IPv6 address that I can ping from anywhere in the world. The problem is that I cannot expose UDP/TCP services to the outside world due to the RS300 blocking all IPv6 packets from arriving at my devices sitting on the LAN. I have proven the packets arrive from the cable modem to the router's WAN side interface via Wireshark, but that is where they stop. The router will not forward unsolicited IPv6 packets even with its setting for "IPv6 Filtering" set to "open". Clearly a bug.

If you put a device in the router DMZ, will the IPv6 packets reach that device?

They do not.
