Need to set-up an RS500 with a Modem

Hi, I am having a dry run in order to set-up the Modem to see if it works before I move cables and install my RS500. As part of the Modem install I have to fix the ip address of my PC to 192.168.1.1 ...

Hi,  Sorry if I am being thick but I'm not sure I understood you completely., Was your Yes that it can be used as a Modem Bridge and attached to the RS500 without problems? Can I proceed with it or do I need to buy another Modem?
