Netgear RS700 Wi-Fi keeps dropping randomly
Hello, I purchased a new Nighthawk RS700 in June 2024. The Wi-Fi will keep dropping randomly throughout the week. Every-time it happens, my wired internet thats connected to the a Bell modem still works so its definitely something with the router.
I’ve tried to reset to factory, configure in AP mode, updated to latest firmware V.1.0.7.86 but the issue still persists. My old Asus Router never had this problem. Im tempted to switch back…
If you have any suggestions how I can fix this please let me know.

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended. What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Any other WiFi signal devices near by?
How many devices do you have connected to the router?

This is silly, my wifes Iphone 15 Pro and sons Iphone 16 max pro have no issues but my iphone 15 max pro wont hold onto the wifi network and requires me to put in my password every single time. I see the orbi had the same issues and they got a firmware update.
What iOS is loaded on these phones?

I have a iPhone 12 Pro Max and it doesn't ask me for the PW.
Try the forget this network for the RS SSID, then try to connect again on your iPhone 15.
