Nighthawk RS300 Dynamic QoS Missing or Disabled - Help
Hi Brains Trust,
Help I cannot find Dynamic QoS on the Home Screen after a factory reset
During a recent setup of my router using the latest firmware I was successfully using the Dynamic QoS features as per this KB25613 --> How do I enable Dynamic QoS on my Nighthawk router? - NETGEAR Support
(This feature was working on my router last week)
Then my ISP connected me to change my Internet settings from PPPOE Username / Password to DHCP and a Static IP. The cut over to new settings went on for 3 days (no internet working with tech support) on the last day I suggested that we do a factory reset and bang the new internet connection settings autoconfigured and our home internet started to work perfecty.....so frustrating that we wasted 3 days anyways đ
But then I notice that the Dynamic QoS Feature was missing, as per this KB25613 linked above, I don't see Dynamic QoS option on the home screen anymore. Its nowhere to be found.
Resolution Attempts: (FW Update did not work)
I then manually downloaded and updated to Router Firmware Version V1.0.1.74 which was the same FW running on PPPoE where the QOS setting was working.... after the FW update completed - Still same result - No Option for Dynamic QoS.
I have searched all of the support pages here and other webpages but found nothing that shares how to enable the Option for Dynamic QoS on the Home Screen or anywhere else in setting or advanced settings.
Can anyone share an update here that can point me forward towards a solution?

Router Firmware Version V1.0.1.60 (same issue)
NG seems to make changes at will. Reason are not know and NG doesn't give that information. Like it or not.

Thank you FURRYe38 and the reason I shared this KB was to share what the actual feature I had enabled and was working on my device when after the mentioned factory reset was lost. My ask here is how to re-enable it.
This KB article and your inference is that my RS300 does not support this feature yet the user manual says it does. See on page 104 we see the steps to enable QOS with additional settings explained.

Enable QoS
Quality of Service (QoS) helps improve your routerâs Internet traffic management
capabilities through better application and device identification, bandwidth allocation,
and traffic prioritization techniques. QoS resolves traffic congestion when the Internet
bandwidth is limited and different demands compete for bandwidth.
QoS does not increase your total Internet bandwidth or WiFi throughput.
To enable QoS:
1. Launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device that is connected to the
router network.
2. Enter http://www.routerlogin.net.
A login window displays.
3. Enter the router admin user name and password.
The user name is admin. The password is the one that you specified when you set
up your router. The user name and password are case-sensitive.
The BASIC Home page displays.
4. Select QoS.
The QoS page displays (Comment --> This QoS Page is nowhere to be found)
5. Select the Enable QoS check box.
6. Click the Apply button. Your settings are savedI do remember enabling these settings during the first setup and so now after factory reset not being able to find it is so frustrating.
Today I did another factory reset and the system reverted to V1.0.1.60 FM and once again the QOS Settings are missing. Then again updated to FW V1.0.1.74 and still no QOS đ
Won't see them on the RS series.
