Possible to Setup Failover with RS700
Is it possible to set up an automatic Internet failover (LTE or cable) for the RS700? I understand this would require an adapter or additional device since the RS700 is, itself, not dual or multi WAN...

Natively, no, the RS doesn't have failover features. Would need external equipment for this.

Would it be possible to use a product similar to the UniFi LTE Backup Pro?
- jprobins007May 25, 2024TutorFurry, are you saying that ShadowMario's suggestion above will not work? Or are you just confirming that the RS700 is not dual WAN?

RS only has LAG, not dual WAN for fail over internally.
I presume how he has it working with external HW, is working for him.

Yeah, Furry was just mentioning that the RS700 doesn't have failover internally. You need a second router that has failover capabilities, connect the RS700's WAN to the router's LAN, then you should be good to go. The second router will handle the failover and there shouldn't be any downtime on the RS700.
