RS500 router - Enable ATF setting in Debug page

Does anyone know what the below ATF setting does? It's enabled by default in the debug page of the RS500 router.

    Air Time Fairness. 

    Used to be in the main WEB UI for older generation routers. 

    NG recommends only disabling for troubleshooting or debugging needs.

Thank you, was seeing references to air time fairness online but couldn't confirm as I have never never seen this feature in my previous Netgear routers.

I think some older R series had it. I think my R7800 had it but not sure as I haven't had that online in years. 

Used to be in the Advanced Wireless section for those routers that had it.

    Okay, never seen this feature in my R6300 or R6700AX routers.
