Been scratching my head to figure out this bottleneck. My WAN shows 2.5 per the router settings being detected. I have my main computer on LAN5 since this is a 10gbps and shows 2.5 in the attache...

Found the root cause.
Within my Ethernet controller adapter settings, I found "cFosSpeed for faster Internet connections (NDIS 6) and had it disabled. As soon as I disabled it, I could get my full 2.5 GB speed. This was the root cause for my bottleneck keeping the connection at 1GB.

Hi,
What speeds do you see directly connected to the ISP modem or ONT with the PC?
I see 2300mbps down and 125mbps upload when connected from ISP modem directly to the PC.
Do other PC exhibit same thing? Yes duplicates the same issue connected to the RS700 10GB LAN port. Other ports not tested as I already well aware they are 1GB ports only.
What Firmware version is currently loaded? v1.0.7.96_2.0.96
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too? Modem was purchased by myself not provided from my ISP Cox. Modem is a Netgear Nighthawk CM2000.
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.
I am it is a CAT7
Is Protection Engine enabled on the router under advanced tab/security?
There is no option for Protection Engine listed in the router admin portal. Even under router information, there is no indication this setting is enabled or disabled.
Also to add the primary computer in question as well as another one tested is an Gigabyte X670E Aorus Master that has the 2.5GB LAN port.

You may want to check out page 37 in the manual to set up multi-gigabit Internet with Internet port aggregation.

Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
