Re: Slow upload speeds on router Speedtest

Hi there!

 

I'm pretty much going thru the same exact issue!

 

I have 1gig service from Verizon FiOS... My brand new RS700S seems to be limiting my upload speed from the ONT by about 40-50%. No matter what I can't get over 450Mbps and on sometimes it goes down to 200-300... My download speeds are always fine.

 

Directly plugging in my PC nets the full 940/940 using the same cables.

My old Nighthawk X4S works just fine!! Funny enough the CR1000B from Verizon gives me same issue.

 

Any updates????

    Thanks for eaching out. We still work on the issue. Can you send me a photo on the product label of your ONT device?

    Also, do you mind running some trial firmware to collect some clues for us?

        Regarding the slow upload speed issue, especially when the RS router is connected to an ONT, we have a trial firmware build that may resolve the issue. It worked in our test.
        If you would like to give it a try, please let me know your RS router model and I will PM you the firmware.
