I am having the same problem you are still no fix for this its sad really I spent a nice penny on this router too, but since I got it from Amazon I cant get a new one 😕 Last year wheb I got this router everything worked perfectly for 8 months or so. Then at the beginning of the LA Fires my connection kept dropping every 10-15 mins, nothing i did fixed the problem and honestly I am just getting tired of it, I might just go a buy a good cisco router for gaming and move on. Also can I get the link to the new firmware update? I have v1.0.1.60 , my RS300 says there is no update.

To be honest, I did a little reverse engineering last night on this firmware and found a flush function in the binary.
This flush function triggers each time there is a problem with the router's stats for outgoing WAN traffic.
When this condition occurs, it simply flushes the connection and starts a new one (which matches the behavior I observed with the recurring connection losses).
So, I started wondering what could be triggering this behavior on my system.
The only things I could think of were the WAN cable or the bridge I use to convert the connection from fiber to RJ45.
So, I replaced the WAN cable (although I really didn’t think it would make a difference since this cable works fine with my other router).
After replacing it, the issue completely stopped, and everything seems to be working fine!
I still have a lot of questions, and I’m not sure if this has permanently solved the problem, but for now, it's gone...
1). Why did it work fine with this cable for four weeks before it stopped?
2). Why did it work fine with the other router at the same speeds but not with the RS300?
3). Why did this cable trigger the flush function to restart the WAN connection?
I’m still digging into the router firmware code to find answers, and I’ll update you if I discover anything new.
I'm still not sure if it does solved the problem or if it will return but I'll give an update about that in the following weeks

You have dine more work and helped than any of the NG people, I’ll try replacing the WAN cable its gonna be A hassle tho since i have running in and out of walls and behind furniture and a King size bed lol But now that I remember I had the managers of my apartment come in and replace the ceiling of my apartment and I noticed someone had stapled the WAN cable to the wood skirts on the walls, i didnt think much of it then, but maybe the force of the staple damaged the wires inside. Welp time to buy a new 50ft CAT cable lmao then one I have now is CAT7, should I get another CAT 7 cable or go for CAT6A or E? Im not too savy with the difference in CAT cables is CAT 8 better?
CAT6A should be more than enough for this router.
If the modem and router are far apart and you have to run a long cable try first with a short one to see if it solves the problem. Get the router closer to the model for this test. If it is solve the problem as well get a new long cable or even maybe 2 so you'll have a backup cable if something happens to the other.- My modem and router are probably about a foot apart they sit on the same shelf the modem is closer to the bottom, because the ISP cable coming out of the wall is down low and a 1 foot connects my modem to my router with sits on top of my shelf. The 50 ft cable connects my PS4 pro to the router thats the cable that was possibly damaged and I’m replacing. But as precaution ill buy both the 50ft LAN cable of CAT6A for my PS4 and a 1 ft cable to connect my modem to the RS300 🙂
