Sounds like this happened during transit. Unfortunately, there are people working for these companies that are known to steal items. This is something you need to keep pressuring customer support about so they can file a claim with FedEx.
I think that if NG could make those shipping boxes a bit less inconspicuous as well for those that order directly from NG, would help stave off some of these nefarouous people doing bad things. Crazy that someone got away with this. How they don't think that it can be tracked. Once the MAC address and any subscription gets put online, gee, there are ways to find out where this unit ended up at. 🙄
