Rs100 no internet

I purchased a new CM2050V modem and had it activated by xfinity. I have voice and when I connect my computer to the modem I have internet.

 

I purchased a new Rs100 router to connect to the CM2050V to provide WiFi.

I used the app and have not been able to get internet access. I set up the router and have the wifi network with no internet access.

  • Try this. 

    Power both the modem and the router off for around 5 minutes and have them disconnected from each other. 

    Power on the modem and give it a few minutes to fully boot. 

    then connect the router back to the cm2050v, and power the router on. 

    give it a few minutes to boot. 

    then log into the router via the browser and not the app. Setup the internet connection via the browser.
