RS100 WIFI 7 Router is Sending STP BPDUs out the WAN port
I am using a Nighthawk WIFI 7 VE3600 RS100 series WIFI Home Router w/2.5G WAN port, and it looks like its sending STP BPDUs towards my providers' Switch. The provider has BPDU-Guard on all their Access Ports, and this is causing the switchport to err-disable due to Received BPDU on an access port. I don't see anywhere in the local configuration that I can change this, either. We have run wireshark, and can confirm that the BPDUs are coming into the ISP switch sourced from my Netgear router's WAN MAC Address and the Bridge ID is the same Netgear MAC.
The Link above is for a Communities thread for a different Model RS300 router, and references a potential fix in a "Test" firmware. My router was initially running V1.0.1.74 and I upgraded it to V1.0.1.80. This "seems" to resolve the BPDU issue, but only if its configured via PC, instead of the App/Smartphone. Once its defaulted back to Factory, it goes back to sending BPDU's until I log in locally and initiate the Configuration. If I use the App, I never get past the "Cannot Detect Ethernet Cable" page, which is understandable as the ISP switchport is err-disabled.
