RS280 Wi-Fi7 router not applying Guest Network Internet access correctly.
It's unfortunate that I cannot run this router in AP Mode as I have done with my previous R9000 Nighthawk router and have a Guest Network work so I run it normally and use only as an AP. I use another device for DHCP and DNS. I bought this model a few months ago at Costco and was surprised when I had a family member tell me that Guests cannot connect to the Guest Network. I tested myself with both different notebooks and Android phones and sure enough see the same results "No internet". To be honest I can't image I am the ONLY ONE seeing this problem? Either that or I am the only one that took the time to reach out to Netgear Support and open a case. The only "work around" I have found which totally defeats the purpose of having a Guest Network is to check the box in the Guest Network settings: Allow guests to see each other and access my local network, then they have network connectivity. Yes I am already on the latest firmware: V1.0.1.60. I have submitted all my logs to Netgear Support and hoping this is fixed, perhaps with another firmware update?

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
How do you have the RS configured for AP mode? Dynamic or Static IP addressing?
How is the guest network configured?
I have my RS600 online currently behind a CAX30 gateway with its WiFi disabled and have Internet access with devices connected on it's GN.
I'm using this PDF file configuration on the RS600 currently:
Mixed mode WPA2 and WPA3 all networks.
Laptop connected to the 2.4Ghz radio.
iPhone and Android pad connected to the 5Ghz radio.

I have a Arris NVG468MQ Version: 9.3.0h7d91 yes it's older but regardless the problem isn't the Frontier Router as it was working just fine with the Guest Network before with my Netgear R9000 Nighthawk, it's Netgear / the current Firmware.
I am unfortunately running the RS280 in Router mode being that I cannot run in AP mode and have the option of a Guest Network as the manual / documentation states. I am running a PiHole for DNS and DHCP. No updates yet from Netgear just on Friday 12/13 that they are reviewing my logs. I hope to get a reasonable answer / solution on this.
-AaronMight check to see if the ISP can help you put the Arris NVG468MQ into bridge mode then you can run the RS in router mode so you can use Guest Network while you wait for NG. No idea if or when that will be fixed.
Good Luck.
Any progress on this?
