I believe the idea is for you to choose channel 149 if you use 160MHz. If you choose anything else, that will overlap into the DFS channels, which is something I found out the hard way not too long ago on my RS700. I switches over to DFS chanel 100 with 160MHz to see how that goes. If I see myself get kicked off again, I'll need to switch over to channel 149 if I want to use 160 MHz.

I see more channels on my RS600:
Possible model differences or limitations with the RS300 vs my RS600.
I'm also in the USA region.

Sorry for the late reply; I had login issues sometimes.
Canada only allows two 160MHz bands: channel 36 ~ 64 and channel 149 ~ 177. US allows three 160MHz bands. ch 149 ~ 177 is new, it’s just opened for Canada in the past year, and I think RS300 does not support it yet. So you only see ch 36 ~ 64 when you choose “Up to 2.9Gbps”, which means 160MHz mode for RS300. However, many clients (especially mobile devices) do not support ch 169 ~ 177 and so they don’t support 160MHz for ch 149 ~ 177.
On RS300, for the 6GHz, if you choose “Up to 5.8Gbpbs” mode, the router will operate in the 320MHz mode.
Different routers, e.g. RS700, may show different speed for the 320MHz, 160MHz, 80MHz… mode because different routers may have different WiFi specs.
I don’t quite understand the admin account resetting issue. Can you elaborate how you noticed the issue? Thanks.
