I am using the Realtek Gaming USB 2.5GbE Family Controller driver ver. 1156.15.20.327. I assume from here:

I have the following disabled in device manager->network adapters->Realtek Gaming USB 2.5GbE->properties->advanced:
Adaptive Link Speed
Advanced EEE
Battery Mode Link Speed (Not Speed Down)
Energy Efficient Ethernet
Gigabit Lite
Green Ethernet
idle power down restriction (only power down...)
idle Power Saving
Jumbo Frame
Large Send Offload (both ip4 and ip6)
Miscellaneous Transfer Settings
NS Offload
Priority VLAN
Wake on....
WOL & Shutdown Link Speed (Not Speed Down)

No repro lately, not conclusive what the issue was, could be the Realtek USB adapter.

Ya, seems so, but I'm not convinced unless I go back to the OG driver windows installed or reset to the defaults. It's working so I don't want to mess with it. I would like to modify the back panel bracket to shoe horn the Intel M.2 card back in.
