RS300 Wifi 7 router
Recently purchased a Netgear RS300 Wifi 7 router. Wireless works great, unable to get my lan wired devices to work. I have tried 2 Netgear unmanaged switches and neither switch can get IP addresses...

Michael,
I know that unmanaged switches do not get IP addresses, but they should let the router send them through to the devices. That's how it worked before I replaced the Cable Modem and the router on Tuesday.
This was all caused because my old Netgear router died after 8 long years.

I'd look for another cause the behaviour you see.
Replacing the cable modem is a clue.
The RS300 is a router. If you have a new cable modem, maybe that is getting in the way.
What is that cable modem?

The cable modem is supplied by Spectrum Cable. They said they needed to replace it because I have 400 mbs and with the old modem was only getting 300 mbs. The router was replaced because it stopped working altogether.

What is it? Does it have a label?
Some internet service providers like to supply combined modem/routers. It gives them control over things at your end. That can complicate troubleshooting.
As you have replaced both bits of the network, modem and router, have you set it all up from scratch?
What tells you that devices are not getting IP addresses?
As we've agreed, the switches don't get IP addresses. That's down to the router. What are the wired devices? Have you plugged them into the router to see what happens?
Again, they see a new router and you may have to introduce them to each other. For example, show a Windows PC a new router and it screams danger and has a hissy fit. (That's a technical term.)

As you have replaced both bits of the network, modem and router, have you set it all up from scratch? Well the Modem supplied for "FREE" from cable company comes Plug and Pray out of the box. Nothing to setup. Don't even have access to it.
What tells you that devices are not getting IP addresses?
I opened a Command Prompt on my PC and ran a dos command ipconfig/ all and it returns the IP address, subnet mask and gateway.
The Printer shows me in the display window if I go to Network, it displays the IP, subnet and GW also.
What are the wired devices?
Dell Desktop PC running Windows 10
HP All in One Laserjet printer
Have you plugged them into the router to see what happens?
Yes, plugged both into the Router and they got 192.168.1. ... addresses and worked fine.
They just won't work when going through either of my unmanaged switches.
I am also a retired Network Administrator for 30 years. So not new to this stuff.
