ISP doesn't assign the interface ID on the LAN side, it only provides the /64 prefix for the router LAN. For now the issue seems to be resolved with a reboot. I am setting up my own interface ID rather than using the router generated interface ID from it's mac address for simplicity and reaching the router ipv6 address locally.

How is the configuration set on the RS router? What IPv6 mode are you using?
Try the beta FW yet?

The custom setting works for a while after reboot and then devices randomly don't get ipv6 addresses from the router. The ipv6 address assignment is in the default auto config mode.
ISP provides DHCP with PD ipv6 internet with a public wan ip to the router and a /64 prefix delegated to the lan side of the router

I'm using DHCP ipv6 connection type which the ISP provides. Didn't try the beta FW yet.
