RS500 drops wifi devices and ping issues
Have devices dropping wifi for no reason. I noticed while it is actively dropping, it will timeout while pinging its IP from another device on the network (not via wifi or rear wired). Pinging 19...
Sorry, wrote the firmware rev incorrectly, it is 1.0.1.60
PE is off
no other switches or routers between.
As stated I'm an IT guy, the firewall is not creating any of the issues. This is a RS500 issue 100%.

As stated I'm an IT guy,----OK. ton's of people in IT. the firewall is not creating any of the issues. This is a RS500 issue 100%.---->if you're in IT, you should know to never say something is 100% certain. to many variables, changes in software/firmeware that cause unexpected issue. The number of times someone has told me "its not my switch/firewall/host router" and it turns out is was is numerouos. Its why whenever there's issues like this, the way to start is the old KISS plan to isolate issues.
I merely posted here to post that I too am having the same issues with my new RS gear as are the people whom also posted similar complaints. Did not come here to have an open debate on my skill set and or the worthiness of the networking equipment at my location.
What ISP/Firewall I have has nothing to do with why this gear is dropping users from it's wifi connectivity.
Well if you're not willing to entertain ideas or even provide information that's asked for, good luck. I wish you the best. Its a free forum that end users help with. I"'m not going to fight you for details or waste my time arguing.
