RS500 hidden advanced setting enables MLO
Not sure why Netgear chose to hide the advanced wireless settings revealed through the F12 browser display link mod. I can confirm that only the MLO setting works in my RS500 router when toggled ON, ...

Yes, full MLO isn't implemented in any consumer device so far. Do you see better speeds in the orbi with MLO on? Does the Orbi have an option to turn off front haul MLO?

Orbi systems don't have any way of turning off BH of any kind. Renders the satellites useless.
The RBS on BE systems connect at MLO with the router unit, 5+6Ghz, as does my iphone 17 and Samsung 25s. I presume this is the 1st gen version of MLO.
Was told that NG is only supporting 5 and 6Ghz MLO only even though 2.4Ghz maybe in the specs.
Speeds are mostly to spec when testing with MLO.
Will be up to the wifi community to get the other versions of MLO working and out to the router Mfrs and then how to deploy. No idea when that will be. May not see that until next gen HW as well.
And with the newer restrictions of HW imports, may never see anything quick or on the horizon.

Agree, I meant the client side MLO option in Orbi. The 2.4 Ghz band might not help much with the MLO due to it's interference in a crowded environment. At least the MLO backhaul in Orbi should benefit with simultaneous data transfer if implemented MLMR is implemented properly.
