What is the brand and model# of the wifi adapter in the PC?
Be sure all wireless and ethernet adapter drivers are updated from the chipset Mfr.
What OS is on this desktop PC?

I upgraded my router because Netgear said they would no longer support. My upgrade is to a RS500. All my devices except for desk top computer were able to connect to RS500 with the passkey provided. Spoke to customer service several times, and tried all the tricks to have my desk top connect to this router, using the passkey. The message I receive is "incorrect passkey." My computer is perhaps 7 years old. Any suggestions?
