RS600 not connecting to Internet
My RS600 router has yet to connect to the internet. I wanted a top of the line router but am having serious doubts about this product. I have been on tech support calls about 4 times as spent sever...
OK - so I think I resolved this issue. Not very elegant and I hope Netgear pays attention.
Here is what I did this morning:
1) connected my ethernet cable from the wall (GoodgleFiber/WebPass) to a switch (that I had lying around - as a spare)
2) connected the Nighthawk RS600 to the switch - nothing else connected to the switch except the power cable
This allowed me - for the first time - to get the router to recognize the internet. and to complete the installation - including a firmware update).
As I said - not elegant - and I definitely should not have to do it this way.
