RS700: Forthcoming Features
What are all of the features that are anticipated to be added to the RS700 through upcoming firmware updates? I believe that list includes….
- Support for Wi-Fi 7 (of course)
- Support for EasyMesh (see here)
- Addition of a priority SSID, giving devices connected to that network precedence (see here)
- Addition of an IoT SSID, allowing for the segregation of smart home devices on the network (see here)
- Support for Automated Frequency Coordination, which provides the potential for increased broadcasting power on the 6GHz band that makes its reach comparable to 5GHz (see here)
What else is forthcoming? (Thank you.)

From what I read here, Netgear doesn't like talking about forthcoming features.
A few chosen outsiders may cuddle up to the staff team and find out what is planned, but they are probably under an NDA and, even if not, would loose their privileged access.
Rumours in the outside world are probably more reliable!
